Map the rooms and priorities
Start by listing rooms, bulky items, fragile objects and anything you will not take. Check furniture dimensions, building rules, access restrictions and the dates agreed with service providers.
Set aside documents, regularly used medication, keys and chargers. These essentials should not disappear into moving boxes.
- Decide what to keep, donate and dispose of responsibly.
- Label boxes by room without exposing private information.
- Prepare a bag with essentials for the first few days.
Pack with clear labels
Label each box with its destination room and a general description. Mark fragile contents and avoid overloading boxes; smaller boxes are often safer for books and heavy objects.
Pack less-used belongings first, leaving daily essentials until closer to moving day.
Agree on responsibilities in advance
Clarify who handles packing, transport, unpacking and final organization. With Bárbara, transportation is provided by a partner company, while organizing and coordination are planned according to your needs.
Once you arrive, start with essential areas such as the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. Your whole home does not have to be ready on day one.
